Fall is falling

"Under the branches of the brown tree

she sat to sing a melody.

She sang goodbye to trees and friends

for her stay on earth was almost gone.

She shall return when summer's gone.."

I was missing so much illustrating a quick thing, inspired by the mood of the day. And I feel I haven't paye d enough attention to this fall, no matter how much I've loved it. I feel I need to stop and sit under a tree and just watch time go by, smell the fall that's almost gone, and think of all the little things that can happen in a simple moment.

Hope you are enjoying fall, and though there are still many days to come (when it's still fall) I felt I needed to draw this.

Stay - Hurts

There's so much love this days. And I was wondering how much love can you feel when you're decorating your Christmas tree so when your loved ones see it, it cheers them up. 

And maybe I'm wrong, but I feel that, when you're doing something for someone you love, you can't help yourself and you give it all that you have, and you do it so tenderly and with so much love. Even the most trivial things can be done with so much love, such as making a sandwitch for someone or hanging up some Christmas balls..

Dec 6: Drawing by the Tree

I'm sorry, I did not have much time today to do anything I got planned to do. I just worked traditionally so... 

Actually, I did everything I had to do, but in fact, did not finish one thing.

I spend today decorating everything for Christmas and I did had much fun with it! Hope you had a great time too and that you're enjoying the way your home looks now that everything is brighter with some little lights here and there.

I'm gonna be sitting by the tree just listening to christmas music and drawing and drawing.. goodnight.

an autumn tree

Hi, I know I haven't post much lately, but I promise this will change. I've been pretty busy and wasted my free time in other projects that still are on the make. But today I needed to draw something, something autumnal, and needed it to be something really simple, I don't know why, but I was not satisfied until this one was done (even though I've done/started 2 different drawings which are pretty much an autumn thing, and that I actually really like so far).

So keeping things simple and hoping for autumn colours to change leaves here. I want cold. It's still so hot... I wish, I wish this changes one day soon.
