I said Hi in the garden
Just one little thing. A moment. Inspired by a lovely bird that was standing on a flowerpot while rain was pouring down. I was listening to The March Of Time.. so maybe it took part in the inspiration thing too. Well, I'm pretty sure it did.
Lately I've had a growing love for Pauline Baynes and E.H. Shepard drawings, I love the way they're so simple but so complex too.. and the way they draw those small scenes filled with magic and lots of feelings. So I'm trying to add a moment, a kind of a backround to my drawings..
Hope you like this little sketch..
See ya soon. (I'll go back to colours soon)

Sing it to me
sing it to me
Wouldn't it be nice to say "I've Finally Found You"?... and what about being said so? I'll keep hoping.
(Just something random.. enjoyed drawing the clothes.)

Of Winter and Water Birds
..best known as "Restless", is a movie that was on theatres this past Christmas and which I absolutelly loved.
This drawing is supposed to be of Enoch and Annabel lying on the ground surrounded by a chalk silhouette that they have drawed. I like them so much but also the movie.. they say it's not Gus Van Sant best projects, but anyway.. I liked it.. like a fairytale, like a lovestory based on all those little things no one seems to ever pay attention to, and that I love so much.
"Of Winter and Water Birds" was supposed to be its name before it was thought as a film, but then, they change it. I'd rather they would have kept this large title better than the "Restless" one.. it seems to suit much more better the movie.. it gives relevance to those little things I was telling you about..
I fell by the movie soundtrack too.. you know, all those Sufjan Stevens's songs, but also that ending Nico's song, The Fairest Of The Seasons.. I was tearing apart when that little one showed up.
So this was not meant to be a "movie recommendation" but ended up seeming one. But anyway, if you like little sweet stories, I think you would like this one.
Hope you liked the drawing though it's a very rough one.. (I just posted it cause I liked the feeling.. I felt that if I touched it, it would lose the feeling, so I leave it like that)
Here, I think this song by Sufjan Stevens (yeah, it's in Restless soundtrack) suits the feeling of the drawing.. (maybe 'cos it's what I was listening to when I was drawing it..)
some Restless images too..
I never felt so safe
A line I once told her
Warm resting place
Her arm on my shoulder..
Wolverine is really sweet too, if you wanna give it a listen. It really gets me when the song says "It's not your fault, it's not your fault, it's not your fault..."

Into My Heart
I will take the dark part of your heart into my heart..
I've been listening to Perfume Genius's "Dark Parts" and this line really suits my feelings and my way to go about things in a perfect way. That's why I started drawing not knowing where that would get me, just trying my best to put the feeling into it, and it ended up like this little thing up here.
There's one little thing you don't know about me, though maybe you've already notice, and it's my love for wind. I've got an obsession with hair blowing in the wind. I feel like I could stand there forever.. just feeling the air. And, though it might sound stupid, this stopped me for so long on having my hair cut. I don't know, but I just love it.. really...
And this little landscape exists.. there is a place here in Catalunya (Spain) up in the north, called Casserres, where I did go this past summer.. and I when I saw this place with the rocks and the landscape (plus sunset) I felt in love at the very first sight.. Really. I couldn't stop looking at the landscape. I just couldn't. So in my mind I made myself a promise that I would do at least, one drawing about it. And I've finally did it.

I've come home, I'm so cold..
"Oh, it gets dark, it gets lonely
on the other side from you.
I pine alot, I find the lot
Falls through without you
I'm coming back love, cruel Heathcliff
My one dream, my only master.
Too long I roam in the night
I'm coming back to his side to put it right
I'm coming home to wuthering, wuthering,
Wuthering Heights."
So this little one up here was done while listening to Kate's Bush "Wuthering Heights". I love the idea of how this song just happened to my life. I was listening to Kate Bush and thus this song got started and inmediately came a weird familiar feeling as if I had been listening to this song all my life, thought I've never really realized so.
It was weird but I felt for the song inmediatelly and I couldn't get it out of me, so I did this drawing. She's supposed to be Cathy, cold and sad.. but th truth is that I just started the book today so I don't know how Cathy looks like.. though by clips and stuff I imagined her like this. But also there was a little bit of Kate's Bush inspiration in her. I wanted the hair to look as if by the rain and cold it had gone really curly.
here I leave you the song..
